Her father, a former soccer star himself, tries to prove to Gracie that she is not tough enough or talented enough to play with boys.
Her mother, Lindsey Bowen, already an outsider in the sports-obsessed family, is no help either.
Undeterred, Gracie finds reserves of strength she never knew existed, and persists in changing everyone's beliefs in what she is capable of, including her own. Gracie not only forces her father to wake up from his grief and see her as the beautiful and strong person that she has always been but she also brings her family together in the face of their tragedy.

Movie Trailer:Hot Fuzz (2007)

Hot Fuzz (2007)
"Hot Fuzz" is the action-packed new comedy from the makers of the hit movie "Shaun of the Dead." With the same razor-sharp combination of humor and attention to detail they used to breathe new life into the undead, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have set their sights on Action Movies for their next uniquely funny vision.

Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing -- the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford.

Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman (Nick Frost). The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman (Jim Broadbent), Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny's puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel's growing frustration.

However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality.

It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.

Still, with both of their lives somewhat derailed, the two make a decision to give dating a try. The Nanny Diaries(2007)

Strapped for cash after her recent graduation from New York University, Annie Braddock (Scarlett Johansson) puts an ad in the newspaper, hoping to find a position as a nanny. Thankfully, a chance encounter quickly leads to potential employment with Mr. X (Paul Giamatti) and Mrs. X (Laura Linney), a wealthy Upper East Side couple looking for someone to care for their 4-year-old son, Grayer. Annie is a product of a working-class New Jersey family, where her mother (Donna Murphy) has dreams of her daughter becoming a respectable businesswoman. Meanwhile, Annie has her sights set on a career in anthropology. Suddenly, the prospect of working for some of the city’s social elite seems like a nice alternative. Annie has done some babysitting in the past, but she has no idea what she is getting herself into when she accepts the position. Mrs. X turns out to be the employer from hell – a pampered wife, whose increasingly outrageous demands take a considerable toll on Annie. Even worse, Mr. X is never around and Annie is basically caught right in the middle of the couple’s crumbling marriage. For the next nine frenzied months, Annie is forced to juggle between the pair, their dysfunctions, their son, and a new love interest (Chris Evans).

Although Jennifer was shot at point blank range, Nunally realizes she isn’t dead. Crawford is immediately arrested and arraigned after confessing--a seemingly slam-dunk case for hot shot assistant district attorney Willy Beachum, who has one foot out the door of the District Attorney’s office on his way to a lucrative job in high-stakes corporate law. But nothing is as simple as it seems, including this case. Will the lure of power and a love affair with a sexy, ambitious attorney at his new firm overpower Willy’s fierce drive to win, or worse, quash his code of ethics? By a twist of fate, the Energon has found its way to earth, which means that the Transformers and war will soon follow. On earth, The Decepticons are bent on destroying anything or anyone in their path, but the Autobots will fight not only for the Energon, but also to preserve human life.
